Simple to use, but with the professional features you need
The system is remarkably easy to use, and it works right out of the box. You just plug in the mic, turn on the power and go. It utilizes the UHF (Ultra High Frequency) spectrum, which helps you avoid interference, and its 514-596 MHz range is not impacted by the FCC’s ban of the 600 MHz frequencies. An automatic-scan feature locates the best available channel for you and the infrared synchronization makes the process a snap. There are 2 banks of 96 channels available, which enables you to run multiple sets of UwMic9 systems at the same time without issues. Easy-to-read backlit LCD displays on the transmitter and the receiver let you make quick adjustments to the intuitive menus in the brightest or darkest environments. The RX9 receiver also includes a headphone output, enabling real-time audio monitoring which is vital if your camera lacks a headphone output. The compact, dual-channel RX9 receiver also features, two separate wireless receivers. This gives you the ability to run two separate wireless microphones anytime, by just adding an additional optional transmitter.

The TX9 belt pack transmitter features a 12-step input level control, allowing users to dial in the gain level for their needs and can also be used to transmit line-level audio, such as an output from a mixer. The TX9 also features a High/Medium/Low RX transmission power output setting, allowing users to conserve batteries in controlled recording environments. Because the TX9 is wired with the standard 3.5mm TRS pin-out, it allows for use with hundreds of lavalier, headset, instrument and gooseneck microphones. Including the premium-quality Saramonic DK3 Lavalier, water-proof DK5 Lavalier, DK6 low-profile headset mic, or the UMIC-M2 mini-gooseneck mic. The TX9 also feature a handy muting feature if the person wearing the clip-on lavalier microphone needs privacy, and a flashing red LED reminds you to unmute it afterward. And the TX9 transmitter and RX9 receiver both have a power-locking feature to prevent them from accidentally being turned off when in use.
Versatility for any camera, or any set-up
Locking 3.5mm mini-plug and XLR output cables are both included so you can use the UwMic9 system with DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, cinema cameras, camcorders, professional video cameras, action cameras, audio recorders, mixers and much more. If your recording device has either a 3.5mm or XLR microphone input, you are ready to go out of the box. Expandable and Backwards Compatible
Another great benefit is that the UwMic9 system is expandable and backwards compatible. Optional transmitters and output cables (sold separately) are available, giving you unrivaled flexibility. Additional transmitters make it possible to add another TX9 belt pack transmitter with Lavalier, a wireless handheld microphone with the HU9 Handheld Microphone transmitter, or the TX-XLR9 wireless Plug-On XLR transmitter allows you to use any XLR microphone wirelessly, condenser or dynamic. Saramonic also has an expansive series of adapters and cables to connect the included RX9 receiver to smartphones, tablets, computers, and so much more. And if you have an older UwMic9 component, transmitter or system with the yellow trim, no need to worry, the UwMic9 series is complete backwards compatible. Allowing you to seamlessly add a UwMic9 system to your existing older UwMic9 system, transmitter or components.
